Senator Kura Mohammed

Chairman )
Senator Kura Mohammed obtained a degree in Political Science from the New York University in the United States of America in 1970.
He is an astute politician and a businessman. Senator Kura Mohammed was the first Secretary, Nigerian High Commission, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (1972-1973), the Executive Secretary Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations (1974-1976). In his political career he has served the country as a senator of the Federal Republic during which he held several positions namely, Vice Chairman Senate Committee on Information (1999-2001), Chairman Senate committee on Housing (2001-2002), Chairman, Senate Committee on Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (2003 – 2004). He has served and still serving in various organizations as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Director, some of which are Chairman, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, 1979 – 1983; Director, Nigeria Tourist Association, 1978 -1979.
Presently he is a Director in First Fund Limited (subsidiary of First Bank of Nig. Ltd), Chairman of Spotless Apt Limited and also Director/vice chairman of Clearline International Limited (HMO). He joined Expatcare Health Services Limited as the Chairman in January 2007.
Chief (Dr.) Sir Oladipupo A. Bailey
Member
Chief Bailey is a former Commissioner of Insurance and a renowned insurance practitioner. Born in 1943, he attended Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, Ijebu-Ode between 1958 and 1962 after which he proceeded to Holborn College, London for his insurance studies between 1966 and 1970. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. He also holds an honorary Doctor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
An experienced insurance broker of over three decades, Chief Bailey started his career with the Federal Ministry of Transport & Aviation between 1963 and 1965 after which he worked with various organisations. Some of them include Atlas Nigeria Ltd, 1965-1966; Chandler Hargreaves Whitall & Co., 1967-1970; UNIC, Lagos, 1970-1972; Femi Johnson & Co., 1972-73; UNIC, Lagos, 1973; NICON, Lagos, 1973-1977, Ark Stewart Wrightson & Co., 1977-1979; Shepherds Insurance Brokers, 1979-1993; Presidential Insurance Brokers, 1993-1995; Shepherds Insurance Brokers, 1976-1997; National Insurance Commission, 1997-2004, Risks Survey & Management Nig. Co, 1979-1997 & 2005 till date. He is the founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Shepherds Insurance Brokers.
He was at different times chairman and member of a number of Federal Government Committees. Some these include Chairman; Committee of National Policy on Aviation Insurance, Director, African Reinsurance Corporation. He was appointed the Commissioner of Insurance in 2004. He currently is a fellow and sits on the Board and Council of many professional bodies some of which include past President (1991/1992) of Chartered Institute of Insurance of Nigeria (CIIN) and has been a Council member since the last 30years; past council member, West African Insurance Institute (WAII); Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB); Association of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of Africa (AISAA); Institute of Corporate Administrators of Nigeria (FICAN); Institute of Chartered Trustees, Nigeria (ICTN); Insurance Institute of Nigeria (IIN); Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM); and Institute of Credit & Risk Management of Nigeria (ICRMN).
He is a recipient of many professional and leadership awards some of which are Award Contribution to the Development of the Nigerian Financial Services Industry from Financial Services Regulation Coordinating Committee; Ethics Leadership Award. He is a Neutral of the Abuja Multi-door Courthouse and a CEDR-accredited mediator.
Chief Bailey is a member of the Ikoyi Club, Metropolitan Club, Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON), Lagos Motor Club, and Rotary International and holds numerous chieftaincy titles.
He is married with a happy family.
Engr. Olufunmilola O. Banjoko

Funmilola attended Federal Government College, Odogbolu for his O’ levels and Federal Government College, Ilorin for his higher school certificate.
He was in the University of Benin from 1981to 1986 where he graduated with a second class honours in Civil Engineering. He bagged an MBA from the University of Navara, IESE Barcelona in the year 2002. He also has an executive certificate from the International Leadership and Bible Training College, Ikoyi, Lagos.
He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, a member of the Nigerian Institute of management. He is a COREN Registered Engineer.
He taught briefly at the Ijebu-Ode Institute for Continuing Education between 1987 -1988. He then, worked with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing between 1988 -1999 where he rose to the rank of Principal Engineer and was the Head of Flood and Erosion Control Division in Delta, before moving to Lekki Essential Services Nig. Ltd.
He is currently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Lekki Essential Services Nig. Ltd. He is also a director of some other companies which include Nutrition and Food Support Services, Engineering and Construction Support Services, Toys Associates, Paradize Nigeria Limited. He is equally an associate of Banjo Banjoko & Associates.
Hans-Joachim Martin
( Director )
Mr. H. J. Martin, a German National, graduated in 1964 as a Mechanical Engineer from the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Stuttgart, Germany. He specialised in Medical Technology by taking a post graduate course from the Institute of Medical Technology, Tuebingen, Germany.
Martin has a Masters degree in Economics from the Institute for Commerce and Banking, Stuttgart/Mannheim.
He commenced his career at Orth & Pfeiffer, Stuttgart, an Engineering firm that specialised in machine and water engineering in 1960. He later worked at Allgemeine Rentenanstalt, Stuttgart, an Insurance company. Before going into private business he also worked in financing at Merkur GMBH, Esslingen.
Martin was the Managing Director of Palfa – Commerce, Switzerland from 1972 to 1982. The Company was an investment company with interest in general financing and engineering projects in Ghana and Nigeria. From 1983 to date, he is the Managing Director of Elbar Ag Company, CH - Chur Switzerland. The Company specialises in Medical Equipment supplies, Engineering Projects Designs and Contracts and Health Insurance Consultancy.
Martin joined the Board of Expatcare in March 2007, representing the interest of Elbar with the view to making the company an International Company particularly with reference to offering local and international medical evacuation and treatment services.
Sam N. Okagbue
( Director )
Sam N. Okagbue is a lawyer by profession and one of the founding partners of the law firm of George Ikoli & Okagbue which was founded in 1996 and today has a professional staff strength of 18 fee earners with offices in Lagos, Abuja and Yenagoa.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981 and attended The London School of Economics where he obtained a Masters in Law (LL.M) in 1983.
Prior to setting up the firm of George Ikoli & Okagbue, he joined the law firm of Bentley, Edu & Co in 1984 as an associate. In 1987, he was made a partner in Bentley Edu & Co (in association with Irving & Bonnar) and was specifically the partner in charge of and head of the corporate and commercial department of the firm. Upon the dissolution of the partnership in 1996, he left to set up the firm of George Ikoli & Okagbue where he presently heads the corporate and commercial law department.
He has been involved as counsel in several of the more notable commercial transactions in Nigeria particularly in the energy sector and the banking, insurance and finance sectors.
Sam was appointed as a Notary Public of Nigeria in 1992 and is a member of several professional bodies including The Institute of Trade Mark Agents (ITMA), The International Trademark Association (INTA), International Lawyers Network (ILN), African Institute of Petroleum (Legal Advisor) and Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). Over the past years, he has attended several professional courses both in England and the United States. He is a member of the Metropolitan Club Lagos, Lagos Motor Boat Club and Ikoyi Club, Lagos.
O. Ihenachor (Group Captain Rtd.)
Chief Operating Officer (Aviation Rescue)
Felix is a retired Group Captain from the Nigerian Air force. He retired in 2006 and joined the board of Expatcare Health International in March 2007.
Felix is an experienced pilot of thirty-one (31) years post qualification. He attended various training institutions during his career as an Air Force Officer and these include: Primary Flying training School, Nigerian Air Force, Kaduna 1976; Oxford Air Training School, Kidlington England for Basic Pilot Training, 1978; Centre Destruction Falcon Velizy Paris, (Falcon 50), 1984; Donier GMBH OBAPFA FENOFEN ‘Munich Germany ( Donier 228)1988, Flight safety International Teterborough, United States of America (Falcon 900), 1993 Flight Safety International Le Bourget Paris (Falcon 900) 1995.
His academic qualifications include B.Sc (Business Administration) and Operational Research Course, University of Lagos, 2001. He is a fellow of the Asia Pacific Centre for Security Studies from Honolulu Hawai USA. His flying experience include over 8000 hours plus and command time of over 5000. Whilst his ratings include Federal Aviation Authority (USA) Air Transport Pilot License; Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority Air Transport Pilot License (Part 1 D0228, Part II Falcon 900 Endorsements; authorised Check Flight Examiner (Federal Aviation Authority Nigeria); Functional Check Pilot on Dornier 228, Embraer Brazilia 120 Part 1.
Felix has operational experience of over twenty-seven (27) years as Military Transport Instructor, Training Captain. He has over ten (10) years world wide experience as an Executive Transport Pilot mostly with the Presidential Fleet of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He commanded various Air Force Multi National Task Forces in Nigeria, Chad and Niger. He retired as the Assistant Director of Training (Air) Defence Headquarters (in charge of Training Matter for Army, Navy and Airforce) Abuja.
He is a member of several Associations and Commissions which include Member, Presidential Committee on establishment of Nigeria’s Counter Terrorism Architecture and Member, United States of America’s European Command’s Chief of Defence Conference on Terrorism – Malta (2006).
Felix is happily married with children. Felix is bringing with him a wealth of experience to set up the first Aviation Rescue Organisation in the Sub-Saharan Africa.
Aliyu Gafaar

Aliyu graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with several academic distinctions.
He worked with the international accounting firms of Arthur Andersen & Co., Coopers and Lybrand and Peat Marwick where he acquired diverse experience in financial consulting, auditing, computing and taxation in several countries.
During this period, he qualified as a chartered accountant; twice wining the best overall prizes of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria’s (ICAN) professional examinations. Thereafter, he worked with Prime Merchant Bank in the Bank’s Venture Capital Department.
Between January 1991 and November 1996, Aliyu worked at Africa Finance Group Limited as its pioneering General Manager before he resigned to set up Peregrine Investments Limited.
His major interests include creative financial and organizational structuring, analytical problem-solving and computing.
Since 1996 he has been a director/promoter of various companies in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry, assets management and banking.
Aliyu is happily married with children.
Dr. (Mrs) Adedoja O. Badejoko
Director
Dr. (Mrs.) Adedoja Olufunmilayo Badejoko, a seasoned medical doctor was born on the 5th of September, 1949.
She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB.BS) from the University of Ibadan in 1974. She was at the State Hospital, Adeoyo in Ibadan between 1974 – 1975 as a House Officer after which she served her fatherland at the Military Hospital Ibadan for her National Youth Service between 1975- 1976.
Dr. Badejoko was later employed as a Senior Medical Officer at the University College Hospital, Ibadan in 1978 from where she rose to the post of Registrar in Department of Haematology. She served in this capacity between July 1978 and Sept 1980 after which she set up her own private medical practice in 1980.
Currently, she is the Medical Director of Dorji Hospital where efficient medical services are rendered at two locations in Ibadan, Oyo State. She is also a non-Executive Director of Bayat Nigeria Limited, a geological science company.
Dr. (Mrs.) Badejoko is a Fellow of Association of General Medical Practitioners and a Past President of Soroptimist International (1990-1991).
She is also a Member of Nigerian Medical Association; Member, Association of General Medical Practitioners, Oyo State; Member, Medical Women’s Association; and Member, Family Club of Nigeria.
She has attended various conferences within and outside Nigeria.
She is married with two children and her hobbies include reading and gardening.

Abimbola Ademola Banjoko (ACII, FCCM)

Bimbo Banjoko is a Chartered Insurer. He did his ‘O’ Levels at St. Gregory’s College, Ikoyi, and ‘A’ Levels at Federal Government College, Odogbolu and Ilorin. He studied for the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (ACII) at Glasgow Caledonian University (formerly Glasgow College of Technology), Scotland. He is also an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He was elected as a Fellow of the Certified Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria in 2008..
He started his insurance career with Royal Exchange Assurance Plc. in 1982. Before establishing Expatcare Health Services Limited (a Health Maintenance Organization), which was renamed HEIRS Medicare Services Ltd. as a result of investment of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Group in the company, he had held several managerial positions in the course of his career with various companies which include: Leadway Assurance Plc., Heritage Assurance Co. Ltd. He was also the Managing Director of a couple of companies, which include Corporate Bond Brokers, Equity Merchant and General Assurance Co. Ltd. Brooks Assurance Plc. (formerly Arrow Head Insurance Co. Ltd.) and Executive Director (Operations) of Clearline Int. Ltd.
At Clearline International Limited (a Health Maintenance Organization) the result of his private research into premium rating and health insurance underwriting in Nigeria formed the basis of the operations of the company, which is arguably the first company to successfully underwrite health insurance in Nigeria.
Bimbo Banjoko was elected to the Board of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as a non-executive by the Federal Government of Nigeria as a representative of HMOs in July 2009.
